Arrival: 10.8.14 in Toronto, successfully completed at 9 in the evening right inside the HI hostel, firt night alone far away from home. Quite a strange feeling, it still was in the morning. Well a nice guy on my room arrived the same day, we went on a tour through toronto. Partly on our own, partly with a nice guide from HI. The day after we rented some bikes and drove a lot through the neigbourhoods. The next 7 days I stayed at a friends house and they introduced me to Henry, a very nice guy who went partying with me. A tour to niagara is another thing you must do. Some pictures in the following:
One great thing about Toronto is its mixture of new and old buildings. It is a very young city compared to others, exspecially european cities. There are great grafitties and a lot of sculptures in the whole area.
Defenitly worth a trip are the Toronto Islands, there are ferries going there the whole day, at least in the summer. Not only great for swimming but having an awesome view on Toronto.
One day we went to Niagara. There is a lot to see, even a little amusementpark, casinos and of course the falls. Nearby is a temple.
